John E. has been singing songs and doing professional and character voices since he was a child.
He began writing songs in college and in 1993 recorded his first album, Music To Soothe The Savage Beast.
A few years later while working for a multimedia company he was asked to fill in on a recording session for a certain large software company, since their regular voice talent was out with laryngitis. After doing that one spot, the company starting sending most of their narration projects to him. Since then he has been pursuing voice work with a passion.
Having been given various nicknames by producers and clients alike such as "The Voice", "One Take Wonder" and "The Velvet Fog", he prides himself in his ability to nail a script in one take as well as breathe life into a narration and make the words exciting and meaningful to the listener, even when it's of a technical nature that could get boring really fast.
As an English major for part of his college career, he has a good grasp of the language when it comes to pronouncing and enunciating words correctly. And his years spent in the computer industry after college have allowed him to learn technical terms that he comes across on a regular basis when narrating computer software training courses.
John E. has his own home-based studio from which he is able to record for his clients and allow them to direct the session and download the takes instantly using SoundStreak technology. Feel free to listen to the various samples and contact John E. when you are ready to enlist his services. |
